These are perfect for note taking in textbooks (or other things you don't want to permanently mark up). They stick great. So far, Sharpie markers are the only things I can use to write on them without smearing (kind of expected though). My only down side is that sometimes they can leave a little tacky residue where the adhesive strip one the sticky note is. I have only noticed this when the sticky note has been left on a page for a little bit though. However, after removing the sticky note, you should be able to carefully rub your fingertip over the stickiness and it should come off (at least it has for me). A little tedious, but I don't mind.

I love using these! It can be a bit difficult to find pens that won't smear on here but they work so nicely to take notes!

Fantastic item

These are cool but you definitely need to pay attention to the types of writing utensils that can be used because many wont work. Pencils and sharpies are perfect, I havent really found much else that doesnt smudge.
